Jack In The Box is “just gone” in Jacksonville, Texas. We noticed the parking lot empty, no lights on inside, no signs of business. We went to the Jack In The Box website clicked on the link for Jacksonville location and got a “404 error stating the page had been moved.”
We spoke with Cherokee County Public Health and they reported the restaurant was not closed by their authority “We do not know why they are closed. We did not know they were closed until someone called us and told us.”
A local official indicated the restaurant has been closed voluntarily after Eric Miller, the franchise owner, saw the state of the facility. The same local official also believes that the owners intend to bulldoze the current store and build a new structure for a bigger and better Jack in the Box.
We reached out to the corporate office for comment but had not received a reply at the time of this posting.
